I thank God for using you to bring me into this world and for picking such a great man to be my father. The love and admiration I have for you is unmeasurable. Our connection, our friendship, communication, your wisdom, your knowledge, your unconditional and never ending love & support for me. There's nothing I can't tell you. Your such a privilege and a blessing. I know I'm highly favored. In part because God made you for me. And I know you're thinking... What? Its the other way around. But the truth is I was in the making from the time you were born. You were living for both me and you. I have a lot of growing and learning to do and it does stress me out at times, but it makes things a lot easier knowing that you are here to teach me the things I don't know and to reteach me the things I think I already do.

To be able to say you are my mother, MY MOTHER, is enough in itself. But the fact is, it gets better. And people on the outside looking in probably think, we are too close, or we talk too much, or your influence is too great, but if they had you as their mother it wouldn't be any different. I couldn't ask for a better teacher and example to live up to. You've done an outstanding job, in your quest to prepare me for life's journey And yes you are human and living without perfection, but you're perfect for me. What anyone else thinks is completely irrelevant.

Your spirit is priceless. Your heart is filled with nothing but good intentions, giving, and forgiveness. I need and want to only treasure you all the days of your life. I know you feel both drained and unappreciated by everyone at times, but its only because you are such a special lady, wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. You're very much needed. I've learned so much from you. I've missed out on a lot of life's curve balls because you went through the fire so I wouldn't have to.

To say I love you is not saying enough. To say that I care isn't either. But to be able to say that you are MY MOTHER... means so much. You've taught me so many life lessons, and I am forever grateful. You are my Hero, my Superstar, and the only TRUE DIVA I know.
