Autumn Brights

Who said brights had to be reserved for warm weather? There's nothing I love more on a dreary day than decking myself in my favorite brighter shades.

I know the shoes don't 'go' with my outfit, but I needed comfortable flats, and I always put these on when there's a chance of rain - they're my oldest pair and I don't mind if they get a bit wet or scuffed up! Today was one of my first days off for a while, so my mum and I went to the Spirit of Christmas Home & Garden Fair. It was lots of fun, and though we didn't bring home very many goodies, we had fun peeping into shops and trying on clothes. There was such an assortment of stalls - jewelry, clothes, Christmas decorations, homeware, flowers, food, and much more! We spent about an hour wandering around, and then another few hours wandering along a high street nearby. It was the first time I was properly able to go high street shopping since coming back from summer vacation!

The pink faux fur collar was something I nicked from my mum. I didn't actually wear it out, because it's a bit inconvenient to wear, but would be really nice 'of an evening,' don't you think?
I don't quite know what pose I was going for there. Perhaps, 'There's a she-wolf in the closet, aaoo' ? (Can I just say: I love Shakira and I think she is such a fantastic dancer, and this song is quite catchy, but I really didn't like the video for She Wolf. Sorry, I digress).
More dancing about like a fool. For someone who isn't a very good dancer, I definitely do dance around a lot. Hey, it's good exercise, isn't it?
I know I look like a prissy princess here. It wasn't intentional, I promise!
Oh, also: I got a new camera, finally! My next set pictures will hopefully be much clearer and sharper. Yay!
I've been doing a lot of outfit posts lately; what do you all think of that? I know you were requesting them before, so I tried to oblige, but think I may have bombarded you with too many pictures of my kooky self. I would love any feedback!
And I do seem to be having verbal diarrhoea lately when it comes to blog posts - I apologise! It's probably because it's so nice to have a completely non-academic outlet when most of my time these days is taken up with my Masters studies. I'll try to be more concise in the future (although I'm sure a lot of people just ignore the words for the pictures, which is fine, too!)
