Taco Bell to Launch Breakfast Menu in 2011 or
2012

Taco Bell Logo Nation's Restaurant News has an article describing what you may see on a breakfast menu Taco Bell plans to launch. The menu includes breakfast items from Taco Bell as well as partner products, such as the Morning Wrap and Morning Biscuit, which are made with Jimmy Dean sausages. The article says Taco Bell may debut the breakfast menu in late 2011 or 2012.

The article says some of the breakfast item Taco Bell may try include:

Double Ham & Cheddar Melt ($1.79)
Sausage Skillet Burrito ($2.79)
Potato & Cheese Roll-ups (79 cents)
Breakfast Burritos (89 cents)
Hash Browns (99 cents).
Cinnabon Delights ($1.49)
Morning Wrap and Morning Biscuit, made with Jimmy Dean sausages ($1.79)

The article also says they plan to serve Seattle's Best Coffee.

Reflect Showerhead Contains a Fog Free Mirror

Cool Hunting reports that this cool mirror and showerhead combo, called Reflect, was designed to not fog up. The Reflect showerhead uses the incoming water to heat the reflective surface and prevent condensation. The showerhead is a 2010 International Design Excellence Award Finalist. It will be available for purchase later this month for $295.

Android Gains Smartphone Marketshare While Apple
Loses It

Data from comScore indicates that Google's Android platform is gaining on its rivals. The data shows that Android took markeshare from its competitors during the February, 2010 to May, 2010 period. Apple and Microsoft each lost 1% or more of marketshare, while Android gained 4%. RIM, which has the leading marketshare, stayed about the same.

Fans Celebrate Spain Winning World Cup in Madrid,
Johannesburg

Fans celebrated Spain's World Cup win over the Netherlands in Madrid and in Johannesburg's Soccer City stadium on Sunday. The game was very close - Spain did not score the winning goal until there was just four minutes remaining in extra time. There were huge crowds in Madrid to celebrate the win. Take a look:

Virgin Group Founder Sir Richard Branson and Canadian-rapper Drake pose together during Virgin America's first flight to Toronto, Canada from Los Angeles and San Francisco Airports on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Toronoto is the first International destination for Virgin America.

Virgin also recently announced its intent to launch flights from SFO to San Jose del Cabo (SJD), SFO to Cancun International Airport (CUN) and LAX to CUN. The airline filed with the U.S. Department of Transportation for authority to begin flying to Mexico this winter.

Spain Wins 2010 World Cup

Paul the octopus was right. Spain won the World Cup and defeated the Netherlands, 1-0, in a close match. The game-winning goal was scored by Andres Iniesta with just four minutes remaining in extra time. It is the first World Cup win for Spain. Take a look:

Barefoot Bandit Arrested in the Bahamas

Colton Harris-Moore, aka the "Barefoot Bandit," has been arrested in the Bahamas. Colton became known as the "Barefoot Bandit" because he left white chalk footprints at the scene of some of his crimes. He is suspected of stealing boats, cars and planes. The thief has become somewhat of a celebrity and has tens of thousands of followers on his Facebook page. His Facebook bio says he is a "real life 21st century outlaw." He is a captured outlaw now. Roger Ebert Pens a Cookbook About Using Rice
Cookers

Roger Ebert has written a cookbook about using electric rice cookers. The book, The Pot and How to Use It: The Mystery and Romance of the Rice Cooker, will be published on September 21, 2010.

The idea for the book originated with an interesting blog post Ebert wrote in 2008 about rice cookers and the many different ways they can be used. The book contains readers' comments and recipes alongside Roger's own insights and observations on why and how we cook. The book also includes an introduction by vegetarian cookbook author Anna Thomas and expert assistance from recipe consultant and nutritionist Yvonne Nienstadt.
