Amy Winehouse to model at London Fashion Week

love her music, I love her hair, but I don't know about her walking the catwalk during the London Fashion Week.

Alexander McQueen and Julian McDonald have stated that they would like to have Ms Winehouse present their creations.

Nothing against Ms Winehouse. I love her unique style and talent, but always being high on crack, I don't know whether she can even walk properly. Critics also wonder whether she will look good in the beautiful clothes McQueen and McDonald design.

But still, if she does walk on the catwalk at the LFW, I'd be interested to see the results and I do hope she does well :)

Summer clothes always feel disposable...flimsy materials show wear, tee shirts get stained, swim suits get faded... That's why it's always good to have an arsenal of cute, cheap bags, that aren't going to be sorely missed should they fall victim to a sunscreen spill, or happy hour spill.

Forever 21, one of my favorites for toss-able fashion, has loads of cute printed hobos (a fresher looking relative of the ubiquitous canvas tote) in canvas brights.
I particularly like the green version with a blue whale applique. Nautical, and retro, it has a 70's Summer of Love vibe...I can just see it paired with a halter, wide leg jeans, and cork-ease platforms! There is a contrasting stitch picking up on the applique color...it's just so cheerful, and bright...perfect for anyone afraid of color.
The bag is fully lined, and closes with a magnetic snap.
Catch one at Forever 21, where the $19.20 price tag will leave you with enough left over to add a whimsical nautical change purse.

You can always use one of these to throw in any bag, and at $8.90, this one is just begging to be snapped up. Also from Forever 21.
