Shannen Doherty Confirmed for 90210 Role

It's confirmed: Shannen Doherty will definitely heading back to the zip code that made her famous, 90210.

"Shannen Doherty will be returning to 90210," Gabe Sachs, executive producer of the CW's new spin-off, said during the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills on Saturday."Shannen is looking forward to returning to 90210," Doherty's rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Doherty, who played the twin sister to Jason Priestley's character Brandon Walsh for four seasons of the original Beverly Hills, 90210, will return as Brenda Walsh when the new show premieres Sept. 2.Now, Brenda will be a visiting drama teacher who directs a musical at West Beverly High School.

Now that's something we can't wait to see. More Brenda!

The creators of Gossip Girl are reveling in their show's bad reputation with parents and critics. In fact, they are embracing the criticism. New print ads feature racy scenes with negative quotes from major media outlets. The show is "every parent's worst nightmare!" screams one ad. One thing's for sure: this really is truth in advertising.

Americans are Eating Less Seafood

Americans are eating lessseafood, but no one seems to know why.

It's good for the heart, but Americans seem to be eating less fish these days.The average American ate 16.3 pounds of fish and shellfish in 2007, 1% less than the previous year, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Shrimp remained the top choice for seafood in the United States at 4.1 pounds per person. Americans also ate 3.9 pounds of canned seafood per person, primarily tuna. Overall, the nation ate almost 5 billion pounds of seafood in 2007. The U.S. continues to be ranked the third-largest consumer of fish and shellfish, behind China and Japan.

Well, let's see. There is the whole scandal about all the mercury in tuna and in many ocean fish. Remember when Arianna Huffington went and got tested (she eats lots of fish) and found that she had a lot of mercury in her blood? And those reports that the wealthiest women who ate more fish had the same problem? Oh, and the price of seafood has gone up, along with everything else. And the oceans are being overfished, according to all the depressing articles in the New York Time and elsewhere. And that's just off the top of our heads.

This Pack has 2 shoes. Both are Air Max 1. These shoes will be sold at Opening Ceremony on Aug. 8. On that special day, the store called Opening Ceremony will team up with Nike Sportswear to operate a 24 â?? hour souvenir store within their store. This pack will be available on sale there.

The shoe upper is made entirely of gold colored leather. The mud guard has its perforations too. On the shoe upper, only the Nike swoosh is free from perforations. The white shoe lace is an attraction and accent since it is a different color from the gold. The inner lining, shoe lace and midsole are white. The outsole is beige/ gold in color. This is a classy shoe that would look good for night wear and other instances like outings in the disco, party or anywhere for a touch of glamour.

The silver colorway is the corresponding pair of the gold colorway. The shoes look identical except for their difference in the colorways. If I were to choose between the silver and gold colorway, I would pick the silver. Silver is a good color that will blend in and coordinate with many other colors.

Karl Lagerfeld to Launch Fragrance Line

Karl Lagerfeld is launchinghis three new fragrances this October in France. The fragrances are unisex and can be worn by men or women.

Notes he likes best include fresh bread, vanilla, woods and spices. "I don't like heavy, flowery things," he continued. "I think there are never enough fragrances -- they are so much fun to play with."

Indeed, Lagerfeld spritzes different scents on his curtains, slipcovers, plus everything he wears. And he is known to douse each bath with a full bottle of fragranced bath oil. Lagerfeld even concocts his own scents with existing fragrances. "I do strange mixes," he said, adding, "There is no gender in perfumes anymore."

"We didn't want to come out with a men's fragrance or a women's fragrance; we needed to break the codes, break the rules," added Francoise Mariez, senior vice president of marketing for European licenses of Coty Prestige, whose parent company, Coty, acquired the Karl Lagerfeld fragrance license in 2005, when it purchased the Unilever Cosmetics International business.

The name Kapsule uses the K from Karl's name and indicates that it is a capsule collection of three fragrances. Light has notes of bitter orange, jasmine, nutmeg, clove and musk. Floriental has ivy leaf, violet and black tea leaf notes. Woody consists cedar, moss and plum notes. We can't wait to try them out.
