Rooney Mara to Star in Film Based on Colm
Toibin's Brooklyn

The Hollywood Reporter says Rooney Mara had taken the lead in a film adaption of Colm Toibin's bestselling novel, Brooklyn. Rooney will play Ellis Lacey, an Irish immigrant, in the romantic drama set in 1950s. Ellis is torn between her family in Ireland and an American she falls in love with in New York City. Nick Horny has been selected as the screenwriter. Rooney is the only star attached to the project so far according to the IMDB page.

Chloe plays a precocious teen named Luli who leaves behind her abusive parents. She decides to hitch hike west. She meets a colorful cast of characters on the way including Eddie (Eddie Redmayne), and young man who falls for Luli and has anger issues and Glenda (Blake Lively), a coke addict on the run from her past. The wife decides they must do better at everything, so they start exercising, eating right and trying to convince their children to give up electronics. Olivia Palermo has been named the face of the new Rochas fragrance, Les Cascades de Rochas - Eclats d'Agrumes. It is a citrus fragrance with notes including mandarin, bergamot, pineapple, mango, musk, white flowers and Sichuan pepper. Grazia reports that part of the inspiration for the fragrance is a Parisian fountain, which is seen in the ad campaign.
